We be going global bitches. So as many of you know that my fandom is not limited to Los Estados Unidos and that I follow the world sport...soccer. I freakin' love Chelsea, I try to follow them as much as possible, but since a large body of water separates me from them it is hard to keep up. That made me ponder (K.O. places his left hand on his chin and looks to the sky inquisitively)..."What if people in the United Kingdom were fans of the New England Patriots?" A few Google searches later and I stumble upon the UK Patriots. These guys are a bunch of Brits that love the Patriots. I am definitely going to try to make contact with them Richard Dreyfuss style. I am just fascinated by this; What causes these guys to love the Patriots so much? Is it the sheer dominance of the Pats over the last decade? Is it Tom Brady's dimpled chin? Do they like the fact that the word "England" is in our team's name and thus associate with it? Or is it out of self-loathing for being British considering we are named after the dudes who ultimately kicked them back to Foggy Ol' Londontown?
Regardless! It freakin' rocks that the Patriots are going global. Napoleon Reincarnate (Belichick) is literally conquering the world. If the NFL was a game of Risk I am pretty sure Belichick just fortified Australia and South America simultaneously and there is no way but up baby! As globalization continues, cultures will start to spill into each other and I love the idea of the Patriots being the firstmovers in acquiring the rest of the worlds fans...thats right Jets and Giants...you can have the immigrants...the Pats will take the rest of the world.

P.S. I forgot to mention that the Home of Dice-K and the Land of the Rising Sun kinda have a thing for us too (although I have NO IDEA what that shit says). We're kinda a big deal.
